Readonly command

Syntax

READONLY { ON | OFF }

Description

Sets the current connection to a "read-only" connection, as if the current user were defined as a readOnlyAccess user. (For more information about database authorization, see the Derby Developer's Guide.)

Example

ij> connect 'jdbc:derby:menuDB';
ij> readonly on;
ij> SELECT * FROM menu;
